Teach Me Photoshop, sister company of Blanc Noir Photography, was established in June of 2008, after it became apparent that the ever increasing demand for knowledge of using Adobe Photshop, the world's most advanced commercial image manipulation tool, was exceeding the capabilities of a photographic company alone.

Johan Bouwer, internationally acknowleged photographer and designer, runs both these companies, and will also be your lecturer for the duration of your Photoshop course.

Johan, who has always had a keen interest in the visual realm, studied Computer Systems Engineering at the Tshwane University of Technology (previously known as Technicon Pretoria). He later also studied Visual Communication at The Open Window School of Communication, where he majored in 3D Animation, History of Art, and Design. Johan has worked as a Virtual Reality Developer from 2001 to 2008. This, combined with the fact that he has had experience with Adobe Photoshop since 1996, and the fact that he loves teaching, makes him the ideal course provider for Adobe Photoshop.

Aside from Teach Me Photoshop, and Blanc Noir Photography, Johan teaches Virtual Reality and Multimedia Programming at the Tshwane University of Technology, and is also a Project Development Manager at a VR company.
